Hello
My name is Marika Mackey, Owner of, and Trainer for, Preserve Life First Aid Training. With 20 years experience in Allied Health and 6 years as a Trainer, I can offer training and courses that suit your needs.
My Story
I have a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science and a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation. I work as an Accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologist specialising in injury rehabilitation and chronic disease management. I have worked in sports medicine clinics across Perth and Mandurah and have enjoyed working in a clinical setting with patients of all ages over many years.

After having children of my own, I decided on a change in direction and completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Since completing the course, I have been working as a Trainer in the Vocational Education and Training sector, teaching both adult learners, and high-school students through the VET in Schools program, across a range of healthcare settings including Nursing, Paramedic, Allied Health, Therapy and Dental Assisting. I teach specific skillsets including First Aid, Infection Control and Manual Handling. My passion is for First Aid Training and so began Preserve Life First Aid Training.
